What is really intriguing about this collection is that most of the things are things that King Tutankhamun used to own. His tomb in the Valley of the Kings was discovered in the year 1922 by a renowned British archaeologist known as Howard Carter. It serves as a store for many Egyptian artifacts, royal mummies, and even royal possessions.
Stop first at the Citadel of Saladin, constructed in the 12th century to strengthen Cairo as the country's capital. Proceed to visit the Mosque of Mohamed Ali, built in 1805 with alabaster. Finally, enjoy the panorama of Islamic Cairo with its hundred-year-old mosques, minarets, and domes—some of them dating back over 1000 years.
Start the tour by visiting some of the oldest existing Roman fortresses in Babylon, dating from the 1st century, followed by visiting The Hanging Church, which was built without any visible supports above the towers from that fortress. Other attractions include visits to the Church of St. Sergius, also known as the Cavern Church, constructed on top of the crypt in which Jesus Christ and his mother lived for a period of three months. The well that supplied water to this holy family can be located within the premises. Your tour to Coptic Cairo will also include a brief, exciting visit to the Ben Ezra Synagogue, which is built on the site where, according to tradition, the Pharaoh's daughter found the basket with the Prophet Moses in the River Nile.
This Islamic Cairo area visit will walk you through the walls and gates that give evidence of the Fatimid dynasty in Islamic Cairo, narrow ancient streets and corners dating back as far as the late 10th century AD.

After good morning breakfast, expect a pickup from your hotel for a domestic flight from the Cairo International Airport bound for Aswan. On landing, our tour guide meets you and then assists in boarding your Nile cruise.
On the cruise ride, you take the ride with the traditional sailboat known as the Felucca; visit Kitchener's Island and the Aga Khan Mausoleum.
After that, we sail back to the luxury cruise for afternoon tea on the upper deck. In the evening, you can enjoy your dinner with a beautiful Nubian folkloric show on board on your first night of the cruise.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast overlooking the Nile view, then see the High Dam in Aswan, the Unfinished Obelisk in the Aswan granite quarries, and the Temple of Philae. Continuing your cruise towards Kom Ombo.

After breakfast this morning, we will drive towards the Temple of Horus in Edfu. In general, it is considered one of the most beautiful temples in Egypt. Later, with lunch and afternoon tea onboard, we will sail towards Luxor.
