Wadi El Gemal Safari from Marsa Alam is one of the best things to do in Marsa Alam with our Egypt tours. In fact, Wadi El Gemal National Park was declared a national park in 2003 because it is incredibly rich with dive sites, archeological sites, breathtaking beaches, and a beautiful lagoon with mangroves.
Wadi El Gemal safari is an off-road trip to witness a thrilling sunset and combines culture with fun and adventure. At the agreed time, your desert safari guide will meet you at your hotel lobby to venture out on the unique desert adventure. You are highly recommended to take photos of everything around you to share it with friends.
As your Jeep takes you off-road and expertly traverses the dunes, your guide will stop you near the Acacia tree. Bedouins believe that the tree represents stability and good luck. Head into an area known as a medical plant bushes area where you will see the arak tree.
On route, listen as your guide shares information about Wadi El Gemal and the Camel Canyon. Camel Canyon is the place where you will luckily see the camels and the natural well 100 %. Have your camera ready to shoot some memorable photos of the canyon and the camels.

Next stop, you will visit the Roman temples of Cleopatra in the Roman village. Not far from here the ruins of the worker’s houses, blocks of stones of all kinds, and Emerald’s mines.
Dinner.
