1 Safaga Luxor

On the agreed time, your guide will pick you up at the exit of Safaga Port to start your overnight trip to Luxor attractions.

Coffee Break: The distance between Safaga and Luxor is about 200km takes about 3 hours with a short break at a lounge on the way to use the toilet (10 L.E per person) or get a coffee. 

Start your Luxor day tours with Luxor West Bank, first we will take you to the Valley of the Kings Upon arrival to Luxor. Actually, Valley of the Kings will be your first stop. The Valley of the Kings is the best place where you can learn about ancient Egyptian religion, religious beliefs in ancient time and Egyptian gods. There are 63 tombs in the Valley of the Kings (now even more), with your entrance ticket, you can visit 3 tombs and you can shoot photos inside for free. These three tombs could be 3 of the following tombs:

  • (KV 02) Rameses IV
  • Tomb of Ramses III (KV 11)
  • Ramses IX Tomb KV 6
  • Merenptah tomb (KV 8)
  • The tomb of Tausert and Setnakht (KV 14)

There are also 3 extra tombs against charge such as Tutankhamun tomb with his mummy and sarcophagus because the rest of the treasures in the Grand Egyptian Museum. Also, Seti I tomb and Ramesses V are extra charge tombs. After visiting your 3 tombs and shoot some photos for the astronomical ceiling of the tombs, you will be ready for your last stop.

After that you will go to Al Deir El Bahari, it is home to three Mortuary temples, the oldest dates back to the Middle Kingdom for Mentuhotep II. Walk the avenue of Sphinxes with only two restorated Sphinxes statues for Hatshepsut in front of the temple. After you explore Mortuary temple of Hatshepsut you will explore Memnon Colossi, which are two massive twin seated statues 17m in height and 750 tons in weight decorated the entrance of the Mortuary temple of Amenhotep III during the New Kingdom. 

Lunch: Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant near the Colossi of Memnon. At the end of your Luxor attractions on Luxor west bank, your guide will help you to check-in at your hotel for overnight. 

2 Luxor East Bank

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel then check-out and join your guide for a guided tour to Luxor temple and Karnak temple.

Start your East bank tour with Luxor temple, Luxor temple was dedicated to god Amun ka mut.f, one of the created gods of the Ogdoad of Heliopolis. It was the place where they celebrated the Opet Festival yearly between Luxor and Karnak. End your Safaga Shore Excursions with Karnak temple, the biggest temple in the world. In fact, your guide will explain about ancient Egyptian history during the New Kingdom when Thebes (Luxor) was the capital of Egypt.
