Dendera temple
The present temple was built by Ptolemy IX Soter II for the goddess Hathor but it is believed that the original temple dates back to Cheops. Also, Pepi I Meryre name was found in one of Dendera Crypts and Thutmose III from the New Kingdom added to that temple. In fact, the oldest part of Dendera temple now dates back to Nectanebo II from the 30th Dynasty, the Mammisi.
Dendera temple is very famous the cult center of Hathor and there are a lot to see such as Roman Birth Houses or Mammisi, Christian Basilica, Fourteen crypts, and goddess Nut chamber. In fact, Abydos temple is famous for the 7 holy shrines of Isis, Horus, Ra-Horakhty, Osiris, Amun-Ra, Ptah, and Seti I.
