2 Days Tour to Luxor from Hurghada

Golavita representative will meet you at your hotel lobby to start your 2 day trip to Luxor from Hurghada. It takes around 4 hours driving with a short break on the way for coffee, toilet, and breakfast. Upon arrival to Luxor, you will start your Luxor day tours on Luxor's east bank.

Karnak temple

Start your Overnight Luxor attraction with Karnak temple Complex which is the biggest temple not only in Egypt but in the world. Indeed, there is a lot to see in Karnak such as Ptah temple, the Hypostyle Hall, Mut temple, Khonsu temple, and the Barque shrine of Ramesses III. Luxor temple

Your next stop will be Luxor temple which is an amazing Pharaonic temple on Luxor's east bank dedicated to God Amun Ka Mut. The entrance of the temple is decorated with six colossi statues for Ramesses the Great and an Obelisk. Also, the wall carvings show one of the most important Festivals in ancient Egypt, the Opet Festival. While, Amenhotep III started the construction Ramesses the Great, Hatshepsut, Thutmose III, Horemheb, and Alexander the Great added to the temple reliefs. At the end of your Luxor attractions on Luxor's east bank, your guide will help you to check in at your hotel overnight.

Mortuary temple of Hatshepsut

On Luxor west bank you will visit Hatshepsut temple which is located in Deir El Bahari not far from the Mortuary Temple of Mentuhotep II. Senmut, Queen’s engineer built the temple for Hatshepsut in a very unique way. Indeed, there are a lot of amazing places especially the second level such as Hathor Chapel, Punt Expedition, and Anubis Chapel. Moreover, the walls reliefs show important events the Queen's Divine Birth, agriculture in ancient Egypt, trading, and Music and dance in ancient Egypt.

Valley of the Kings

Then you will explore Valley of the Kings on Luxor west bank was the final resting place of all the Pharaohs of the Eighteenth Dynasty, Nineteenth Dynasty, and Twentieth Dynasty. Moreover, Tutankhamun's tomb is very famous in the Valley of the Kings. The walls of the tombs are decorated with the Book of Day, Book of Night, Book of Heavenly Cow, Book of Caverns, and the Book of Imyduat. You can visit 3 tombs included in your ticket and you can choose from:

Memnon Colossi

Your last stop on Luxor's west bank will be Memnon Colossi, the massive statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III seated on the throne while his mother and wife are portrayed long his feet. The Colossi were decorating the entrance of his Mortuary temple but it is in ruins now. The temple was used for Mummification purposes or Opening of the Mouth rituals. Later on, you will drive back to your hotel in Hurghada
