On the way up, there are coffees where you can rest and have a drink. Meanwhile, you can rent blanket or do the last part on camels. Enjoy the best sunrise you may ever saw before you will start your way down to St Catherine monastery.
07.00 am climbing down to St Catherine Monastery: St Catherine Monastery is considered to be one of the oldest monasteries in the world and it was built by the emperor Justinian in 530 AD. St Catherine is one of the earliest Alexandria Christian martyrs and it is said that she was tortured on a wheel by Emperor Maxentius for refusing to renounce her Christian faith.
09.30 am driving to Dahab for lunch: The distance between St Catharine and Dahab is 130km and it takes maximum two hours. Enjoy your lunch by an amazing restaurant by the sea side before you head back to Sharm El Sheikh.
